A Southern Nevada community event designed to provide new pajamas and caring comfort to children in crisis
DJs for PJs® is an annual one-day event designed to collect new pajamas for children in need throughout Southern Nevada. Last year, the non-profit event collected over 12,000 pairs of brand-new pajamas for local agencies to distribute to abused, neglected and abandoned kids.
The date: Friday, April 25, 2008 The time: 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Locations: Wal-Mart (Eastern & Serene) Boca Park (Charleston & Rampart) Sante Fe Station (US 95 & Rancho) Sunset Station (Sunset Rd, west of US 95) How can I help? Corporations, organizations and individuals all can contribute to the effort. Here’s how.
1. Buy a pair of pajamas and bring them to one of the DJ’s for PJs® collection sites. There will be a deejay broadcasting, local celebrities and lots of fun all day at each site.
2. Log on to www.crazyforbargains.com and donate new pajamas on line. Make a selection and enter Promotion Code DJPJ08. Tab through to the shipping and billing page. For the shipping address, you must enter DJs for PJs®, c/o Consultants in Marketing, Inc., 10181 Park Run Drive, Ste. 190, Las Vegas, NV 89145. Enter your billing information. You’ll get a 20% discount and the site also will waive shipping charges. Although your initial order will show a shipping charge, it will be manually reversed when your order is processed. Offer expires on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. PST.
